Borage is also used for a hormone problem called adrenal insufficiency, for 'blood purification', to increase urine flow, to prevent inflammation of the lungs, as a sedative, and to promote seating. Borage is also used to treat bronchitis and colds. It also helps with nervous disorders such as excessive apprehension or persistent worrying and even mild to long term depression. Borage also contains potassium and calcium, combined with mineral acids.
Suggested use: Add 1 tbs. in a cup of boiling water: Steep for 5-10 mins. Enjoy! May re-steep leaves several times. *Increase dosage if needed.
