Motherwort is used for melancholy, restlessness and disturb sleep from emotional or physical ailments of the heart. It strengthens the heart. Motherwort is used for pre-menstrual cramps with delayed menstruation, congestive amenorrhea or dysmenorrhea, nervous palpitations, premenstrual nerve tension, high blood pressure due to stress and nerve pain from herpes zoster and herpes simplex. It should be taken over a period of months for best results. It helps when release the anxiety and tension that accompany stress and overwhelm not just on a physical level, as in the case of heart palpitations, but also on the emotional level that may be at their root.

Do not use a pregnant or trying to become pregnant. May cause period to come early or become heavier.

Suggested use: Add 1 Tbsp. in a cup of boiling water. Steep for 5-10 minutes. Enjoy! Increase dosage if needed.
