Elecampane is a demulcent (soothing herb) that has been used to treat coughs associated with bronchitis, asthma, and whooping cough. Used throughout the world for thousands of years, Westerners have traditionally used elecampane both as a medicine and a condiment or cordial for digestion, loss of appetite, and non-ulcer dyspepsia (it was an ingredient in absinthe). This herb not only clears the lungs of phlegm, but also cleans and dissolves mucoid matter from the liver and digestive organs.

Suggested Use: Add 1 teaspoon in a cup of boiling water. Steep or strain about 5-10 mins. Sweeten if desired. Enjoy! *Increase dosage if needed.
